Jenna Fischer is best known for her role as Pam Beesly on the acclaimed television show The Office, for which she received the Emmy nomination for Best Supporting Actress and two SAG Awards for Outstanding Performance in an Ensemble Comedy.
Jenna was raised in Fort Wayne in Indiana. Jenna saw her mother, Anne, perform in church plays when she was a child, which instilled a love for theater and performing.
Following the conclusion of The Office, Fischer, an actress trained in theater, returned to her origins. In Off-Broadway's play Reasons to Be Happy composed by Neil LaBute with Josh Hamilton and Leslie Bibb as co-stars, Fischer was a part of. Following her appearance in Steve Martin's most recent show Meteor Shower (an absurdist comedy with Greg Germann & Josh Stamberg), she was then invited to appear in the record-breaking Old Globe Theatre's world premiere.
The Office actress Angela Kinsey Fischer's friend from real life and co-star, debuted Office Ladies in October 2019 on Earwolf. The podcast became extremely popular, and was ranked in the Top Ten of the world every week. It received over 200,000,000 downloads in its initial two years. Office Ladies took home the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Awards in January 2021.
She's written two books, The Actor's Life, a Survival Guide where she outlines her experience in Hollywood as an actor in the field and Office BFF's, Tales of The Office From Two Best Friends that Were There which is a story of the greatest relationship they shared and their experiences in The Office.
